As most people have watched the HBO series Band of Brothers, over the ten episodes you became familiar with the recruits at camp Toccoa, and each one becoming a battle hardened soldier.
Marcus Brotherton  has compiled this book which takes the reader through Normandy. A great read from start to Finish.

   War  What is it  good for?  Absolutely nothing.  was the first line of a song, yet our history is full of war and famous battles, whether famous because of being courageous,  of a decision that hinged on a successful campaign and turned it into military blunder.   From archaeology discoveries, we have learned Assryia was the first military state, and through the ages kings have become powerful and created huge empires, and have fallen.    But is there really a need for another webpage about the first and second world wars?
